What the BeachBum Offers

The BeachBum is stocked with the comforts and conveniences you need for an easygoing Gulf Coast vacation. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, smart TVs, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, and plenty of space to relax. For beach days, we provide beach towels, a beach wagon, beach toys for the kiddos, a cooler, and a commercial ice machine. There's also an outdoor shower and charcoal grill for rinsing off after the beach and enjoying an evening cookout. 

Guests also have access to Morgantown's community amenities, including two swimming pools-- one heated-- along with a tennis-pickleball hybrid court. The neighborhood features three private beach boardwalks, and the beach is just a short 5-to-10-minute walk from the BeachBum.

Located on the western end of Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan offers a slow-paced coastal experience with beautiful beaches, abundant nature, local seafood, fishing, and plenty of ways to explore. Spend the day soaking up the sun, explore the trails of Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, or head out on the water for an unforgettable Gulf Coast adventure. 

For the anglers in your crew, Fort Morgan Marina is home to a variety of local fishing charters offering inshore, offshore, and nearshore trips. 

History is also a big part of what makes this community special. Fort Morgan State Historic Site has stood at the mouth of the Mobile Bay since 1834. Explore the historic fortifications, learn about its role in the Civil War and the Battle of the Mobile Bay, and take in the beautiful views where the bay meets the gulf.
